  • What do I do if my animals have arrived deceased?
    Arrive Alive Policy. At Bad Juju, we strive to provide the best support for your new pets. In the rare event that your insects arrive deceased, please follow these steps: 1. Document the Issue – Send us a video showing the package, its contents, and the deceased animals. This helps us determine what went wrong. 2. Provide Proof of Delivery – We require proof of the package’s delivery date and time to process your claim. Please note: We cannot be held responsible for courier mishandling, such as leaving the package in extreme temperatures. You must contact us immediately upon discovering the issue, as we cannot verify when the animals perished if there’s a delay. If the insects you ordered are out of stock, we will issue store credit as a replacement. Fortunately, these incidents are extremely rare, so don’t worry!
  • How do you Ship your live animals?
    At Bad Juju, we take great care when shipping live animals to ensure they arrive safely. Each animal is securely packaged in a container with its preferred bedding and, when necessary, a small amount of food. Shipping Schedule & Method All live insect orders are shipped on Mondays via Express Shipping through Australia Post. Orders and payments must be received by midnight Sunday to be sent out that week. This is to ensure they are not waiting over weekends, which would cause extra stress. Orders or payments processed after this day will be shipped the following Monday. Shipping Restrictions Western Australia: Customers must obtain an import permit ($30 fee). Apply through WA Parks and Wildlife. A copy of the approved permit must be emailed to BadJuju at email@home.com before shipping will take place. WA also requires a quarantine inspection ($50 fee, invoiced after delivery). Check animal eligibility here. Tasmania: Unfortunately, we no longer ship to Tasmania due to strict regulations and extended transit times that may affect the animals' welfare. Arrive Alive Guarentee All live shipments are covered by our "Arrive Alive" policy, ensuring support if any issues arise.
  • Where do you ship to?

  • Can I return my animals?
    Simply put, no. Returning live animals would cause them unnecessary stress, which we want to avoid for their well-being. This is why we strongly encourage you to carefully consider your decision before bringing any new pet into your home—even if they are "just insects." Responsible pet ownership starts with thoughtful planning!
